I've heard a lot of conspiracy theororists say that Covid isn't really as bad as what the news media is making it out to be. Well, after battling Covid myself for 16 days I can honestly tell you that the virus is indeed very real.
However; the good news is that GOD is real too!
A lot of people have lost loved ones to Covid-19 and it's painful to lose someone that we love. Many were completely convinced that their loved one would be healed and saved only to watch them lose their life to this awful virus.
Afterward, many were left to ask, "Why didn't God answer our prayers and save our loved one?" I honestly have no idea why some, like me, are spared while others lose their personal battle with Covid. However; I do know that God is with us when we are dealing with this virus. He loves us and he wants to comfort us through those difficult times.
Just because God doesn't answer our prayers the way that we had hoped, it doesn't mean that he was ignoring us or that we did something wrong. Sometimes, God answers our prayers in HIS way and in HIS timing even though we don't fully understand.
God is very real and God understands our tears and our sorrow. We just have to firmly believe and know that He knows far better than we do what is best for us.
Even Jesus, asked his heavenly Father, "If it is possible, let this cup pass from me." (Matthew 26:39) Christ was begging for another way to do his Father's work! God's answer was still no, because there was no other way to accomplish His works and to bring salvation to the world.
God is always in control. Even when things don't end up the way that we had planned or wanted them to finish. However; if we commit ourselves to God and walk in obedience to Him, we will always discover that God's ways are always better than our ways!
